Starting to Really Play with my Nikon D5000

Lash Out!

One of my friends introduced me to a cool new thing (well at least new to me and my friends). It is called Lashout www.lashoutpro.com. You pretty much get extensions put on your own eyelashes. Believe me this was not a short trip to the spa. I was there 3+hours. I was a training model so I got my done free but I hear they are pricey. I had to try it for sure. Mascara for a while. You lay perfectly still with your lowerlashes taped down. They even not if your are castrophobic this might not be for you. I was pretty stiff when I was done. I think I dozed there for a while. Great thing to do on a ugly winter day.

New Camera Nikon D5000

I just purchased a new camera it is the Nikon D5000.  I have a lot to learn about my first D-SLR but I look forward to learning new techniques.  I look forward to posting new pics on this site and our RV site.  Stay tuned....

Crows of Fall

It is for sure fall in our neighborhood. The crows are out in force, cackling at each other and fighting over walnuts from our tree. I captured a few silly guys on the fence the other morning.

My Angel

This is Angel, she is a Russian Blue (we think a mix but looks pretty much 100%). She is 7 years old and we adopted her from the Human Society. She is one of the best cats I have ever had. Angel has not been doing well lately with a infection of her liver.

I thought I would take some pictures of her because I realized I do not have many of her since she has grown up. She is a beautiful cat to take pics of... She is our friendly kitty that greats guests with getting up on their lap and then sink her nice claws through the jeans to say how much she loves them. She has the biggest purr of any kitty. We love her a lot and hope she gets well (especially me).

I Farkle do you?

I am now hooked on a game called Farkle. I learned about it on Facebook, you can play there. Now I found out they have it available at stores. It is a really fun dice game you can play with others or you can try to beat your own score. It is mainly based on 1s and 5s but then there are points for triple numbers, quad numbers, and numerical order plus pairs. I will be purchasing it to take on trips in our camper for sure.
